Barbara Walters spoke candidly to the press at RJ Julia's Bookstore in Madison, Connecticut about her new book "Audition" and the tougher parts of revisiting her past to write the book, including the guilt she felt over having a mentally retarded sister, her divorces and troubles with her daughter. She said "If you are not totally honest then why bother and others can relate and be uplifted by how we face difficulties"
When asked how it was to have interviewed princes, presidents and starts, she replied "and murders, don't forget about the murderers."
